Most of the songs on The Dear Hunter album The Color Spectrum has skipping and pauses in them. These are not on the original CD, and this is the only songs on Spotify I've heard with that problem.
Never Forgive, Never Forget is one of the songs with this issue. The Canopy is another.
Please fix this, it's so annoying.
It's like this on all computers I've tried in the same spot everytime.
It may be because I am not familiar with the music, but I don't hear anything that jumps out at me like a break or a pause.
Could you give an approximate time it happens in one of the tracks?
EDIT: I assume you mean the Album with the "Complete Collection" added. I did that listening without the complete collection add on. I am relistening on the "Complete Collection" now.
EDIT 2: I did not notice it on the track Canopy on the "Complete Collection" Color album.
In "Never Forgive Never Forget" there's one of those at 2:03-2:04.
A for The Canopy, I listened to that now, and it seemed okay, but that wasn't the case some months ago, so maybe that has been fixed.
Yes I mean the complete collection.
I can say that I agree with this topic. The sound is terrible for this album.
Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
You can report any content errors/issues such as these directly to the Spotify content team using the instructions outlined in this topic. Once you have submitted a query, the content team will investigate and then pass any needed details over to the record label to request a correction/change if needed (so it can take some time unfortunately!).

I can relate to this thread.
It's horrible and so annoying.
Still happening in 2017, the only track which apparently doesn't have this issue is "Lillian" (track 9 on the regular version, track 6 on the Complete Collection, track 2 on the Violet EP). I already reported this once and still hasn't been solved, lots of heavy skipping and digital clicks on both regular and Complete Collection versions. Spotify please do something about this, it's completely annoying.
Hi guys, I understand that this is a very old thread I'm digging up here, but I'd like to confirm with you that the issue has been fixed. After years, I might add, but still. I have not checked ALL the tracks on the album, but it seems the most severely affected tracks ("Never Forgive, Never Forget", "The Canopy", "Mandala", "Home") longer have any glitches in them as far I can tell.
Thanks. Yes! Apparently it's solved, I noticed a couple of weeks ago that neither The Canopy nor Home didn't have glitches anymore so I felt relieved but didn't check any other tracks, good to know others got no glitches as well.
Feedback from Spotify a few months ago said that they couldn't fix the issue since it was on the tracks and not a playback issue, so it was for the label to solve. Seems they looked into it. Should've post that here before but forgot lol.
So tdh listeners can enjoy one of their best album again!
I have yet to check the whole album but still, looks like it's finally solved!
