Using two devices simultaneously on the Premium Family Subscription

I just upgraded my premium Spotify membership to the family plan and added my husband. I want to play Spotify through my phone and in my car when I'm not home, and my husband wants to use our IPad at home to play Spotify. Both are streaming beautifully, but we can't use both devices simultaneously. When I play downloaded playlists in my car, Spotify stops playing through our iPad at home, and vice versa. Doesn't the family plan allow us to use two devices simultaneously?

Hey @Writer923, welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

The Premium for Family subscription allows you to use up to 6 separate accounts at once, which means you and your husband need to be logging into different accounts in order to listen at the same time.
