Video playback

Please make it an option to listen to a podcast without video playback. I listen to podcasts while at work/ working out/ etc. and the video play back is constantly crashing. Because I’m listening while doing other tasks I frequently have to rewind if I miss something. With video playback the rewind feature is constantly crashing and I’m always having to restart the app and re-find my place in the pod cast.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out! Sorry for the late reply, we just came by this post. Also heads-up: we've moved it to the Help board as it fits better here.

It's already possible to listen to a podcast without video playback on mobile by toggling on the Stream audio only option in the app's Settings. This feature, however, works only when you aren't connected to a Wifi network, as it's intended to save data.

If you're on Wifi, you can instead lower the video quality (Settings > Video quality > Stream via Wifi). You can, for example, set it to Low or Medium.
