For a couple of weeks I haven't been able to listen to any music online on my Windows 7 mobile.

When I try to play a tune Spotify starts downloading, but the music never starts

According to bugs, this might be a problem in code in Spotify app.

However clean reinstall may help (delete app and install again).

There is no other way to fix it if this is not solved after that.
