[WP8] Cannot start playlists from Browse page

[WP8] Cannot start playlists from Browse page

Hello Spotify team,

 

It has been quite a while that I cannot tap on any of the recommended playlists at the top of the Browse page in the Windows Phone 8 app, the ones where the recommendations change throughout the day.

 

I also cannot tap the "Top Lists" menu item. (highlighted in red below)

 

Please fix this bug as it is VERY annoying to have to search for these playlists from the Search page, just to play them! Thanks.

yes I have tried reinstalling the app on my phone. It still doesn't work.

yes I have restarted my phone many times and it still doesn't work. This problem has been around for quite some time.

I cannot tap on any of the recommended playlists, nor the "Top Lists'  link on the Browse page.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Open the Spotify app.
  2. Tap on the burger menu and then tap Browse.
  3. Tap on any of the recommended playlists at the top of the Browse page. Nothing happens.
  4. Tap on the "Top Lists" link. Nothing happens.

 

What steps you’ve tried already:

  • Restarting the phone.
  • Removing and reinstalling the app.
