[Windows phone 8] Album artwork not showing up when playing music

Whenever i play a track, it shows on the bar at the top but the lock screen is the same background making finding what im listening to a bit harder. Any help thx

I don't have Windows Phone myself but i will try and help you :).

Have you tried a clean reinstallation?

Thanks for the reply. Will try it but will I have to redownload offline playlists (about 5gb) I'm guessing yes.

Looked it up, will lose offline playlists. Might try it sometime later when I have the time

Unfortunately you will lose your offline playlists and you will need to redownload them again. But if you haven't tried log out and in, you could try that first.

Ive tried logging out and in and re installing it but no luck.

For Future reference, it's a windows phone 8.1 and 10 thing and no album artwork shows up on the lock screen no matter what music player.
