[Your Library] Do not use Shuffle as a default

So I never remember it being like this but Everytime I play album the shuffle seems to be a default setting. This is not great. Too often on here it seems Spotifys response is we hear you but have no plans to change this anytime soon.

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

 

That being said, we'd like to add some insights here. If your account is on free service, the mobile version app by default would have the Shuffle option active; nevertheless, this is not the case for Premium accounts. Just to confirm, is your account on our free service or is it Premium? You can read more about the free experience in mobile here

 

If your account is Premium, the app will remember if you activated the Shuffle mode, but if you are not using it, it won't be active by default. If you're noticing inconveniences with the Shuffle mode, would you mind sending us the make/model and OS of the affected device along with the Spotify version you're running there?

 

Additionally, did you notice this is happening with a specific album/playlist? If yes, please send us the link to it so we can verify it thoroughly. You can follow the steps in this article to share the link. Lastly, are you using the Connect feature when this is happening?
