all songs in my library are only playing for 9 seconds then go off

all songs in my library are only playing for 9 seconds then go off

I have tried all of the instructions listed to uninstall, then reinstall app, clear cache, turned phone on & off but nothing helps. I have read where others have this problem and tried all of the suggestions - to no avail. Maybe Spotify should sort this bug out.

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

Just to confirm, do you experience this issue on your phone only? Or do you notice the same behavior on other devices that you use Spotify on?

 

Also, could you give another internet connection a shot to see if you notice any difference, if you haven't already? For example, if you're currently using WiFi, you can try with 4G/5G.

 

Should the issue persist, it would be great if you could let us know the following:
 

  • Make & model of your device(s).
  • Current OS version.
  • Your Spotify version.
  • Any error messages you're seeing from your end.
