problems downloading songs to play offline

Hi there, welcome to the community!

The slow download problem could be caused by any of these factors:

• Any VPN could slow down your downloads significantly. Make sure to turn it off if you use any VPN service.
• The Internet connection itself could be slow, resulting in slow downloads. Check if you are having slow download issues on other Apps and Services as well.
• Restart, and clean install the Spotify Mobile App. More about that here. 
• Try switching to WiFi or Mobile Data or other Internet Provider to confirm if the issue is with the ISP or Spotify itself.

If this does not help, let us know the following things:

• Spotify App Version
• Device Info (OS, Device, etc)
