"Your Music" not even reaching the limit

"Your Music" not even reaching the limit

Since today I am aware of the limit of 10,000 songs saved in "Your Music" (which by the way is ridiculous, I would have to delete music that I like to add music that I like), but I reached 9,984 songs and I can't seem to add any more.

Is there a problem with my saved music? Can I solve this and at least reach that way too low limit of 10,000 songs?

Hey @jorisvandedonk, welcome to the Spotify Community!

I've looked into this issue for you, and I think I've found the answer. It doesn't make a whole lot of logical sense, though, so bear with me. Basically, what I've found is that sometimes, an album counts as 1 track + the number of tracks in the album. So if you add a 10 track album to Your Music, it occasionally takes up 11 spots. I'm not quite sure why this happens, but I have seen evidence of it in other places around the Community.

If you'd like to see the 10,000 song limit increase, please go add your comments/votes to this idea: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Increase-maximum-songs-allowed-in-quot-Your-Music-quot/i...

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else 🙂
