removing offline devices

removing offline devices

I am logged in on the web page and signed in like I am supposed to be but there is no option for devices to be able to remove old unused devices. Why not? What can I do to access this and remove old devices so I can download to a new device?

Maybe I am not understanding fully.  If I get a new phone, but I am at my limit of devices, and already cleared/factory reset my old phone to sell or turn in, and then turned in that old device, I am just out of luck to use my new phone to download music to that new device that I am paying for spotify premium?

Hey @Camerono1980

Thanks for the clarification.

We can confirm that if you don't go online at least once in 30 days on a specific device, your downloads will be removed automatically. Since you don't have access to your old phone anymore, you can just wait for the 30 days to pass.

Or if you prefer, you can reach out directly to our Support team through any of these channels so they can further assist you with this.

I now understand the process better; but I have to say, this does not feel like a very customer friendly aspect of Spotify for those paying for the premium service.
