skipping

im on my computer and no matter what songs i play it skips and skips and skips. it will eventually pick a song but it wont have any sound. once that song is halfway through it will start skipping again. have had this problem for awhile and its getting on my nerves

Same issue here.  Either it wont play at all, or it stops playing after 10 seconds, or it shows as playing but there is no sound.  Was there an update to the Spotify app within the past week or so?  Something is definitely broken.

In order to investigate this further and see what might be causing the issue, can you provide us with the following info:

• Device model + OS version
• Spotify app version 
• Is this happening only on the Desktop app or on the Web player too?
• Does this happen with any song/ album/ playlist, or just with a specific one.

This is happening on the newest windows version of Spotify (I have re-installed twice, so it's definitely the newest).  My OS is WIndows 10.  The issue seems to only happen on the desktop app.  It happens on any/all songs not in a playlist.
