why don’t i have a built in shuffle on my play button but i have premium?

why don’t i have a built in shuffle on my play button but i have premium?

when i click the play button it plays a song but when i click it again it just stops the song and doesn’t skip to a different song. After looking this up i realized there wasn’t a shuffle button built into the play button.

I tried to go to the AppStore and see if i needed to update it and i didn’t, i also tried to log out and back in again, and i deleted the app and all that didn’t work and i don’t know how to fix it.

It seems like you're experiencing one of the tests we're running to improve the UI in the app.

 

But in order for us to confirm this, do you mind posting screenshots of how the UI looks on your end? We'd also need the Spotify version you're using and the brand/model/operating system of the device you're using.

i am on iOS and is using the iPhone 11, the spotify version i’m using is 8.7.40.1558.

Thanks for sending us this info. 

 

If you want to play the songs in order you just need to deactivate shuffle by tapping on this icon: 

 

 

Once this option is deactivated, if you tap on the green play button your songs will play in order.

 

On the contrary, if you want to listen to the music on shuffle, make sure to activate it before starting the playback. 

 

As @Dian mentioned previously, you're experiencing one of the tests we're currently running. We’re always testing possible improvements and new features, so you might see something on the app that other users don't, or get a brand-new feature for only a temporary period.
