why is my playlist skipping the first song and going to another song

I created a playlist today,and i had the portals songs in it by melanie martinez,but instead of playing the first song,it skipped to the song spider web

Listening to your playlist in the order you want is a Premium feature. If you're a free-tier user, keep in mind that the playback will be shuffled by default, and the playlist will start with different songs every time you play it. However, if you have a Premium subscription, make sure that the shuffle button is turned off (grey) before hitting the play button. 

If the issue persists, check if the play queue has some added songs that may interfere with the proper behavior of your playback. If so, we'd recommend clearing the play queue with the steps mentioned in this article.
