My Question or Issue

 My family and I are planning on subscribing to Spotify Family and I am curious about how this whole thing goes:

I am the only one with a Facebook account (my mother and my brother aren't really fond of having a Facebook acc), so do they need a Fb acc aswell? Especially if my Facebook account is the "Manager account" of the others.

Can I transfer my Facebook account to a "normal" account (with login email and password and the other stuff)?

Can I use my Email, which is already in use by the Facebook account, on the normal account aswell?

Hey @ShiveringLights!

The family subscription has nothing to do with having a Facebook account. Your family members won't need it to join your Family Plan.

To disconnect your Spotify account from Facebook:

1. Open the Spotify desktop app.
2. In the top-right corner, click the dropdown menu arrow, then Settings.
3. Under Social, click DISCONNECT FROM FACEBOOK.

Note: It’s not possible to complete these steps on mobile.

If you’re not seeing this option, it means you created your account with Facebook, so it’s not possible to disconnect. If this is the case, check out your next steps at this support article.

Finally, it is not possible to use the same e-mail for multiple accounts. But accounts created with Facebook does not count for that. So it won't be a problem to create a new account with your e-mail address. Though you don't need to this for Family Plan, keep it in mind. Let me know if you have any further questions.
