Being charged for Premium when I am apart of a family subscription

Being charged for Premium when I am apart of a family subscription

Hi, I am apart of a premium family account for Spotify and have been for 4 months. I am not the owner of the subscription yet I am being charged every month for Spotify Premium ($11.99)  I thought as I am apart of a family I do not pay this fee.  Is this right? Thanks!

If you join a Premium for Family plan as a sub-account, you shouldn't be charged at all. You can head to your Subscription page to make sure you're part of the plan, it will show you what kind of subscription you're using.

 

If your account is linked to the correct plan, but you're still getting charged, you might have a second account set up that's still charging you the regular subscription. In this case, we recommend contacting our customer support team via Twitter, Facebook, or the contact form for further assistance.
