Can't add my son to family account

Can't add my son to family account

I try to add my son's account to my family account. He gets the invite on his mail, follows the link and enters all the additional data. Thereafter there's a message in red saying he cannot join this family plan. He is livning on the same address as me and is old enough to fulfill the requirements. I have tried sending new invites several times and the same thing always happens.

 

Additionally, in the error message there is a link to the Q&A regarding family accounts. No help there. I tried sending a message to Spotify customer service and they just replied that I should read the Q&A or post my question in the forum. I don't feel that Spotify is any helpful, but rather condescending. I hope that I can in fact get some help now that I do post my issue here in the forum.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address and someone should reply back within 48 hours.

I have the same exact issue, and NONE of the info on the site is helpful. The "contact us" page sends you to Twitter or Facebook, but they don't have an email link in Mexico, at least, to get help with this. Have you found a solution?
