Cancel to upgrade?

Cancel to upgrade?

Hi,

I have had a Premium account for a long time still payed for through via Vodafone (though no longer linked to my entertainment package with them). I really want to upgrade to Premium Family but believe I would have to cancel my existing Premium account first. Is there a way to do this without losing all the playlists I've carefully constructed over the years? I already seem to have lost access to all my saved artists due to the 'new look' version of Premium. Under 'My Artists' there is a list of about 7 - I had hundreds! Maybe they're still there, but there's no longer any useful way to search for them, at least not on an iPhone, which is my exclusive tool for using Spotify. The efforts I've put into the playlists are the main reason for staying and adding another member of my family, despite several seemingly unnecessary changes to the interface that make using Spotify a much less happy experience for me than it used to be. If I lost them too as a result of the upgrade, there would really no longer be any point in my continuing with Spotify. Any advice? Thanks!

Hey @Rogue18 ,

Thanks for reaching out.

You'll need to contact Vodafone to cancel the Spotify subscriptions so you'll be able to sign up to Premium for Family.

Also, don't worry the playlists, saved music etc. will not be removed from the accounts when they revert back to the Free plan - Only offline music will be removed from the device(s) but can be downloaded again at any time after upgrading to Premium for Family.

Hope this helps!
