Family on Alexa

Family on Alexa

We have a family account (me and my husband each have an account). When my kids listen to Alexa at home they take over my account while I’m at work. How do I keep this from happening?

Hey @Roscodog

With the family plan you can have up to 6 accounts on the plan.

So right now you said you have 2 accounts, you and your husband?

What is probably happening is that you have your account setup at home and when you are using your account and your kids are using the account at home at the same time, it is interupting your playback.

Each account can only have one device playing at a time.

You could always create a new account for your kids to use or create multiple accounts for each kid. Then your playback won't be interupted. Although if you are using Alexa and you want to use a certain account then you'd have to login and logout of different accounts when using Alexa.
