Family plan address-computer won't let it match

Family plan address-computer won't let it match

I'm trying to get on family plan w my husband. We are checking both addresses and it keeps telling us address doesn't match. It won't let us change details like his says US and mine says USA but it wont let either of us change the US part!!

here are some screen shots.  So frustrating when we have been working on this for days and even changing his address so it matches the exact address that the computer finds for me and then waiting 24 hrs and trying again!

Tried all the tips in past posts.  It's hard when the computer auto updates your address, but they seem to match!

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

 

In order to add a member to the Premium family plan, the address they enter has to match exactly with the one the owner entered on their own account. 

 

In this case, we suggest that the owner change the address so the user who's being invited can try with the new one. If they're unable to change it, we suggest that they try from an incognito window and a different device.

We did have the main user change their address to match exactly.
I show it on the screen shots.

Thanks for all your replies and for the info shared,

 

We've gone ahead and edited your posts, since they contained personal info. Keep in mind this is a public space, so, to maintain your personal data secure, we've deleted some of the screenshots you kindly sent us.

 

That being said, and as mentioned by @Eni, the address you put must be the exact same as the one the Family Owner has registered in his account. We could see the one your husband set has US at the end, and the one you always found ends with USA. Keep in mind this could be the reason why you can't join, because even is a subtle difference, the system would recognize it as not matching.

 

So, in this case, we'd recommend you to try to join from a different device from the one you've being using. If your address doesn't autocomplete when trying to join, enter your entire address, then select Find (take into account the system will take into account spaces, points, commas, etc.). 

 

If you still can’t find it, you can suggest the owner to update the address once again by selecting your building, street name, or a close public space or building. Just don't use someone else's address.

it won't let him change the US to USA 

It is an auto populate.

And it won't let me change the USA they are just auto populate things!  I tried from a different computer too and it's the same.

Could you try this method please:
You can use Google's plus code to find the plan member's exact coordinates.
The plan manager can then add these as the address for the plan and it should match with the other one when the member tries to join.
