Moved to a country where Spotify doesn't operate

Moved to a country where Spotify doesn't operate

I signed up to Spotify via my UK iTunes account. But I've been living in a country where Spotiy isn't officially available (Israel) for the past four years. This was fine for me, as i could use my Premium account without any trouble. But now I try to add my wife on the family program, it won't let her use it, as it thinks we're living in different countries. I tried to change my country, but as Spotify doesn't operate here, it's not an option. If I can't resolve this, I'll reluctantly have to cancel my subscription and join the family program on Apple Music. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

 

Currently, it's only possible to add users to a Premium for Family Plan, if they all live in the same country. Since your account has been set up to the UK, due to your payment method, it is necessary for all sub accounts to be registered also in the UK.
