Premium Family on Multiple Echo Dots

I am considering purchasing the Family Premium but have a question that I need to confirm before going ahead.

I will be setting up the account under my account then inviting members.

If my wife wants to play her music on the downstairs Echo Dot and I want to play mine on the upstairs echo dot at the same will this work or will it kick one of us off?

I dont foresee a problem with playing different music on our phones, just this other method?

Any guidance appreciated.

Just to confirm, you have two echo dots, right?

When you set up the Family Premium, you and your wife will keep your separated accounts, so it won't be a problem for that.

One account can stream to only one online device at a time, but since you'll then be able to use individual accounts, there will be no conflict.

Yes, we have two echo dots. We will have the family premium account but each using our own spotify account, likely controlling the various dots using the spotify connect app on our phones

I recommend you to change the name of your echo dot devices(if you haven't already) so it'll easier to recognize them in the Spotify app!
