Premium family

Premium family

I have been a  premium member for 2 years and I  recently upgraded to premium family and have sent invitation to a family member that I share my premium plan with on her device when I not using it 

so now we can both listen 

And invite email take her to a account login a the code sent is not working

Could you both specify your problem. Does it show an error code?

 

The process of applying to a Spotify Family account should look a bit like this:

  1. Owner will send out an invite per email from the spotify website.
  2. Then the person that wants to be added to the Spotify Family account clicks on the link 'redeem'.
  3. This will bring him/her to the spotify website, where he needs to log in with his (not the the director of the Spotify Family plan) credentials.
  4. Then he will be able to redeem a place in a Spotify Family plan.

I have the same problem. Family invitation is not working! The sent password from Spotify is not valid...  😞

Hey! Welcome to the Spotify Community 🙂
Having no spotify premium isn't cool! Usually these kind of things happen, because of your web browsers cache. So try doing the following things:
Try opening the link in a private/incognito tab.
If that doesn't work, change browser and clear both browsers cache.
Lastly if that doesn't work either, try redeeming the code on another device, that should do the trick!
