Spotify Family won't let me add family...

Just want to add my brother to my family account and it will not let me. He has never received the email which I have resent about 6-7 times, also have tried copying the invite code twice (different codes), sending it to him and having him redeem it. It said that the code is not valid both times. He used to have premium, but only a free trial version. Any help is appreciated 🙂
