We have a family premium. But using google auth show "free" version

We have a family premium. But using google auth show "free" version

My wife is admin on the family premium.
Her invite was to my google account (february 2019).
My iphone is logged in (gmail and password) and shows premium.
When using windows downloaded app and logging in via google auth (which seems to be only option), I come into my old "free account" as it was before I was invited.
My albums are not there and it is the free (with ads) version.

If I am to guess, it seems that the username/password and google user identity have become two different profiles in the spotify system. I only have one gmail account. The original invite email is there. Clicking on the "accept link" again does nothing.

I found that I did have both login options in the windows app. And they both appear to take me to the free version.
Even though I am listed as member on my wifes computer.

Hey there @TormodS,

Thanks for the post.

What is happening here is that you indeed have two Spotify accounts most likely. One which is added as Family Premium member and one on the free service.

The option to Log in with Google is different than logging in with the combination of your Gmail email + password. What could also be happening is that your Premium account was created via Facebook or Apple.

I'd suggest you check out this article for helpful tips with finding accounts.

Since you're logged in the Premium account on your phone, you can click on your Profile picture > Account > Email and see which email address is associated with that particular account. After that try logging in with that email address and password. If the system doesn't let you, you'd need to reset your password for that email address and try again.

Hope this helps.
