family plan members don't have access to the same contents as me

family plan members don't have access to the same contents as me

I can access podcasts (e.g. mindscape by Sean Carol), but my wife cant. All episodes show a padlock for her (access contents)
I have a familiy plan, and she is a member and in the same household.

Hi @niels_a_olesen, thanks for writing!

 

One possible reason for this is that some podcasts on Spotify have exclusive or paid content available only to Premium users or those with an additional subscription. If your wife’s account is mistakenly recognized as a free account, this could be why the episodes are locked.


I suggest that your wife verifies that her account is correctly linked to your Family Plan and recognized as Premium. She can check this under her account settings.

 

Also, if your wife’s account is marked as a child account or has explicit content filters enabled, it may block certain podcasts or episodes flagged as explicit. Please check and adjust content settings for her account in the Family Plan manager.
