Charged for regular premium after verifying I am a student

I was charged the 9.99 by Spotify after already having to re-verify my enrollment in a post-secondary institution a couple of months ago. I was previously notified a couple months ago that my student account was expiring soon or something of the like, to which I then reverified my enrollment (less than four month ago). But at this time I was not notified that I would be charged as a regular premium member and received a bill of 9.99 this morning. Unfortunately I already have trouble affording Spotify as a student and would like to if there is a possibility of getting this five dollars back? If not I may unfortunately be forced to terminate my account.

If you've renewed the discount, I'd suggest heading here to apply it on your account again. Keep in mind that the discounted rate will kick in at your next billing date.
