Charged twice and still a Free user

Charged twice and still a Free user

Isso tried to do a student account today, i got charged twice and i'm still a Free user.

Please someone help me out.

There are 2 that could happen:

  • Your payment was not processed, so you were not charged to your card, and they are outstanding payments that should disappear in a couple hours. In this case you must put in contact with your bank to see if payments were actually made.
  • Your payments were processed and there was a problem with your subscription, in this case the best you have to do is to contact support so they can check the problem: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

     

    If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

     

    Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Hey @Herick, welcome to the community!

 

I saw that you have been charged twice in the same date, you probably just hit the upgrade button more than once (and both payments were credited to your account). You can double check this by going to your Subscription Page and confirming your next payment date is more than 1 month away, the second payment is automatically applied to your next month. If you need more help about it you can get in touch with Spotify from the contact form.

Thats the Second part of my problem, in the Spotify website i'm still Like a Free account. 😞
