Se podría regalar una cuenta de estudiante al hijo de mis amigos. Digo darse de alta el como estudiante y pagarle yo con mi tarjeta todos los meses durante un año?

You can definitely gift a year of Premium to another user. The safest option is to use a gift card. They'll be able to add it to their account on top of the discount.

However, the gift cards can only be redeemed if the account is set up in the same country where the gift card was purchased.
