From premium to student

Hi there,

I'm currently a premium member but just realised being a student I'm probably eligible for the discounted rate. Can anyone please tell me if the student rate is available in NZ and if so, how to make the transition without closing my account and opening another?

Spotify for Students is available in New Zealand! Just head to this page to get started. No worries, when you're using the same account you always use when upgrading you won't lose any of your playlists. Let me know if you have any questions.

Just a bit wary of entering my payment details again in case I get charged for both my existing account and the new student one. Can I be sure the full price account will not be charged once I've started the student rate?

Everything is going to be alright if you use the account you already have Premium on. No worries, after entering your payment details and succesful verification you'll only be charged the rate of Spotify for Students monthly. Let me know if anything's unclear! 🙂
