I change my individual premium to student premium

I change my individual premium to student premium after purchasing the individual one for 10.99 and student premium is 5.99. What happens to the money the rest of the money I paid?

If you were on Premium before applying to the discount, the discounted rate should be reflected on your next billing date and not the current one.
