I'm verified as a student, but it still says im ineligible for spotify stud

I've been verified by Sheer ID, but it wont let me downgrade from premium family to premium student. I couldn't find any help for this issue on the FAQ page, and I'm not sure how to resolve this issue.

Thanks for getting in touch about this in the Community!

First off, you might've already completed the process, however, if you have a Family plan right now, you need to wait until the last month you paid finishes. Once it ends, your Premium Student subscription will automatically begin. You can verify that by going here. From there you check the date when your Family plan will end, and if you already activated the discount, you will see the next payment will be for the price of Premium Student. 

If you don't see that, then we'd suggest canceling the Premium Family subscription. Once done, you'll just need to wait until the Family plan ends and your account is back to the free service. Then you can go ahead and subscribe with your discount.
