My account details are wrong, Payed 9,99€ despite of student discount!

Hey Spotify-Team,

 

Currently, I am really disappointed! I verified my student discount over one month ago, but I still needed to pay 9.99€ instead of 4.99€. Furthermore, my account details are totally wrong. My account says that I would still use Spotofy free instead if spotify premium and so I don't have any success to my subscriptions and my invoice documents. I will withdraw my payment of 9.99€ for this month until you have fixed the problems with my account and my students discount.

A couple of scenarios come to mind with your description of the issue.

 

  • You might have two or more Spotify accounts. One with the discount and other Free accounts. Try following this troubleshooting to rule this out.
  • The payment might've failed to complete. In this case, it should show as pending and it means that the money was put on hold and will go back to your account soon.

after checking the two options and your issue isn't resolved, it'd be best to contact our Support team via Twitter or Facebook. They have the tools to dig deeper and help you out.
