Payment went through for premium subscription, but still says payment failed

Payment went through for premium subscription, but still says payment failed

So the money was deducted from my balance for the spotify subscription, and to my surprise i get a payment failed email from spotify after I already paid. Talked to my provider and they have confirmed that spotify did in fact take their payment. So what should I do ??

Hey @Jan511, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Can you check your account status here? If it says Premium, and your payment provider has confirmed that payment has gone through — then you’re good to go. Your account will also state if there’s a failed payment that needs to be made.

 

If it says you must make a payment, since your billing is handled by a third-party, they are the only point of contact as they’re directly managing your billing, not Spotify. 

 

Let me know what you find.

I just talked to my provider again, they said that the payment definitely went through to spotify, so I don’t know what to do atp if it does cancel my subscription after I’ve already paid. like i keep going back and forth with both parties and the fact is the money has been deducted from my balance and i still can’t get in touch with spotify at all

Thanks. Can you let me know what your account status shows on your Spotify account using the link I provided in my last reply? You can also send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing on your account page — make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community. 

 

Also, can you use any Premium features in the app at the moment?
