[SOLVED] Reverifying issues

hey! I got an email today about reverifying my Student plan, but every time i click on the “Reverify Now” link, it takes me to my account front page. I even tried going through SheerID but my account still says my plan expires next month.

 

I’ve tried using Incognito/Private browsing, but that didn’t work either. I started my Student plan back in July 2023, so a year before now. Is there anything else I can do to extend my plan? Is there any way I can talk to someone via email?

EDIT: I solved the issue. I think the device you use counts as well. I used the SheerID link to reverify on desktop. I didn’t use Incognito/Private Browsing (I forgot) but the deed is done. I got it extended until Jul 2025.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

 

Try making the verification process from this link. Try from an incognito/private tab or a different device to the one you used before. If get any error message, send over a screenshot so we can take a look. Just make sure no personal details are visible. 

 

If you're able to complete the form and send the info, you'll have to wait for a confirmation email from SheerID letting you know if you got the discount for another 12 months or not. From that email, you'll be able to activate the discount again on your Spotify account. 

 

We'll be on the lookout!

Hey Susan_GP, so i decided to do this on my desktop. My last attempts were done on my phone and tablet, I'm not sure if device choice makes a difference. But I got it extended till July 22, 2025! I used the link you provided.

Have you received a confirmation email from SheerID about the verification? Make sure to follow the steps / links from the most recent SheerID email in order to activate the discount and let us know how it goes.
