I’m not sure of whether I was verified as a student, but my bank account shows two processing charges for Spotify Premium at $4.99. Yet, I still don’t have access to Premium

If you got a receipt in your Email then the charge was successful. If you haven't gotten yet then give it 48 hours so then your bank can process the transaction.

I haven’t gotten an email confirmation other than an email saying “listen now”. I don’t have Spotify premium.

Since you haven't gotten it yet, give it 48 hours for your bank to succesfully process your transaction.

Hey Buddy.  

 

Here's what's most likely that's happening.

 

What you're seeing in your receipt  is called a pending charge.

 

Since you're not seeing your Premium features yet,  it means that the payment hasn't gone through yet. 

 

Once you receive a confirmation in your email saying that you've successfully joined the Student discount,  then it means the money kicked in. 

 

If not,  then it will return to your account. 

 

Seeing that you have 2 charges. It can be that you tried applying to the discount more than once.  

 

Don't worry,  only one payment will be processed
