Switch existing premium account to student account without creditcard

Goodmorning,

I've had an existing premium account for a couple of years now and I'm trying to get the student discount. I've registered myself on unidays, but when I try to get further on the spotify page it asks for my creditcard details, which I don't have. I pay with my bank card, but that doesn't seem to be an option. Can anybody help? Answers can be in Dutch as well 🙂

Hey @ijansman,

Unfortunately, you can only subscribe to the Student Discount using the available payment methods. If the payment method you’d like to use isn’t being offered to you on the payment page, then it’s most likely not available at the moment.

Thank you for the quick reply. Is that even though I already pay the double each month now? They just need to bill half the money 😛

Yep. There's no way to continue using your current payment method for the Student Discount if it isn't listed on the Student Discount payment page.
