using spotify premium on a new account

My Question or Issue

I recently had to create a new spotify account. i had student premium on my previous account, but i cancelled the subscription. i wanted to start using student premium on my new account but it says i have already redeemed the offer. what can i do?

Thanks for reaching out.

If you have a second account which has the Student Discount applied, you'll need to wait until 12 months have elapsed (since you first signed up for the Student Discount), in order to apply it on another account.

You're entitled to one account with the Student Discount on at a time, and that discount will last for 12 months even if you cancel the subscription or close the account.

If the discount is on the wrong account, reach out to Spotify's Support team who might be able to transfer it to your desired account.
