Ad-free to religious content.

Ad-free to religious content.

Greetings, Spotify Team.

I am just another young Brazilian going through difficult times, and I did not come here to talk about problems—I came to talk about the opportunity Spotify has to be wonderful in this phase of our lives.

From my perspective, it would be great if Spotify could free users from ads when they are enjoying religious content.

Users who pay for the service and are in good financial condition will continue their lives normally and will have complete freedom to seek God. However, those who are without money are usually also struggling in their relationship with God, because without God, there is no prosperity. It would be amazing if we could listen to music about God without interruptions. I truly believe this would bring only good things:

  1. Spotify would be seen as a force for good in the world. In an era where all companies seem to focus only on worldly matters, it would be DIVINE to see a company take this step.

  2. When we have money and don’t seek God, life seems to put us through tough times so we learn to appreciate and become better people when we prosper again. Then, debts pile up, problems become overwhelming, and when we stop to relax, we realize that Spotify has also become the free version with ads. By offering this support, you would undoubtedly be helping to shape strong warriors, who might even come to understand that they only started listening to religious/gospel/spiritual music thanks to Spotify.

  3. The news would spread across all social media, and religious communities (Jewish, Buddhist, Christian, Umbanda, Spiritist, among others) would see this as a divine action if you truly implement this. I, for one, would recognize that God is using a wonderful, well-designed platform to bless and touch the hearts of His children. You would be part of this!

  4. Podcasts could also be included, such as those from a priest, bishop, pastor, monk, spiritual leader, shaman, etc. Artists could simply mark an option indicating that their content is religious/gospel/spiritual, so that no ads are included in those cases.

  5. After about 5 years, when we have fully understood that Spotify is a tool for good, you could introduce ads—but only for full gospel/religious songs. And they must be music, not regular ads! The message would be that Spotify is helping other artists become known. A good-hearted person understands the importance of giving new artists a chance. You would also be shaping great religious artists.

  6. Obviously, users would also fall in love with the seamless experience of using Spotify for music, along with the app’s aesthetics and all the sensations that only Spotify provides.

  7. This would inspire a desire to contribute to a company that does good, because we would be strengthening Spotify, which has also strengthened us and continues to strengthen others.

  8. You could allocate part of the revenue to social causes (this part is up to you, of course) from users who consume more than 75% gospel/religious content. We, as users, would feel that paying for Spotify means doing a good deed, since we would always be supporting a company that does good! And by listening exclusively to gospel/religious/spiritual content, we would contribute even more, knowing that part of the money would go toward social actions. Spotify would become part of our mission to make the world a better place, and all it would take is subscribing to Spotify and listening to religious/gospel/spiritual content. But even those who don’t pay would still be doing good, as they would listen to gospel artists’ ads after five years.

  9. It would also be great to have an option to experience Spotify without exposure to other types of music. But this should be filtered by religion, as some religious individuals may still act ignorantly toward content from other faiths.

In short, this would be wonderful. I, for one, would completely change my perception of Spotify.

Best regards
