An Issue I'm Now Aware Of..

So, a while ago, I was just scrolling through the Spotify Community: Social & Random tab, when a Topic caught my eye. One user has created a Topic explaining that someone hacked into their account. Which is concerning based on Spotify's security settings.

As I'm now aware of this, I have a couple of solutions to help with this if anyone else is having this breach issue. 

 

1. Reset your password. If you've reset it multiple times and it isn't working what-so-ever, then try the next option.

2. Log out of all sessions. This normally works out, but for the person that brought this to my attention in their post, obviously it didn't. Otherwise..

3. Install a software security extension. Works for me, it's why I haven't had any issues with this. If anyone is curious, I use LastPass for password keeping, and NordVPN to protect my account. I try to stay low profile.

4. Remove the account completely. Only if you're desperate. if you decide to follow this solution, before you sign out. Copy and paste or write down the songs you want to keep with you. 

 

Hopefully this helps, and Spotify can try to fix this issue for some of you guys experiencing this issue.
