Fix your outdated slowed down app

Trying to actually listen to music but Spotify runs so slow now, its pish!

I am a premium payer.

Fix it!

Go on my laptop, open Spotify, click on an artist,

takes ages to get artist to load, then takes forever to scroll down up on artist to find album song etc.

Nothing else on laptop active. but spotify is shite now ... can open up a vinyl lp and put it on the turntable quicker.

Then listen to your vinyl. Or fix your internet connection, or your computer, or whatever is slowing down the app that is in fact not slow by its own doing.

Yep! I do that and when the needle hits the vinyl it plays right away and as it should. On a 1 gig Virgin Media broadband only,  no other tv or phone etc stuff, a stand alone system so that is well better than everyone else mostly. PC runs on a windows 11 pro 64 bit, 13th gen i9 13900KS processor 23 cores, 64 Gig RAM, rog max z790 hero mobo, RTX 4090 NVIDIA (yep the latest one), lots of terrabytes of SSD from samsung and seagate, and NVidia onboard sound system.

Believe me, when i log in and the music is not loading or takes several seconds to load or it sounds like shite, it is not my end that is the issue.

I have had this out with spotify in the past. their issue is they just take any music and put it out there. they should tell us where they grab it from before they make it available. Some of their stuff is just early years CD stuff that was ported from vinyl and was the old "dull" analogue to digital recordings that used to happen in the late 1980's.

They know it, but are lazy and just in it for the money now.

Ive cancelled my Spotify now because they have become lazy and**bleep** money making scam now.

Spotify are lazy and just take music from anywhere and add it to their database.

You’re wrong, on all levels, and would advise you to befriend someone capable of fixing issues such as these. Humility doesn’t suit you it seems. 

What’s a piece of music you admire? That’s more interesting to me than arguing.

Been listening to music all my life, and spotify are just new kids on the block. I jumped onto them from day one but they have bcome tired and probably their servers etc where they store their music are now either overloaded or outdated. Maybe even just a good old dusting down is all that they need.

Regardless, their shitty refusal to answer to their fair paying public, when we give them a complaint, is their undoing!

More fool them. My money stops and they lose.

Try not offering to fix what is not broken with people like me, whose systems are THE LATEST, and work perfectly.

Try understanding that the product that is being offered, is actually not working properly!

Ain't going to happen. I am outta here on 3 August when my family premium expires. I have Amazon Prime so no loss to me, but a big loss to Spotify. Empires rise, and empires fall. They will fall because they fail to listen and learn!

I've done it all and heard it all and now listen for enjoyment now, but my daughter carries the flame now, and with no spotify, she will adapt to Amazon for FREE! Courtesy of me, and all thanks to Spotify too, for being so stupid too lol

No doubt this thread will be archived too, as are most things on the internet, so sometime in the future it will be fun knowing that spotify employees just DID NOT LISTEN TO US NOW, AND WERE THE UNWITTING ARCHITECTS OF THEIR OWN DOWNFALL!

Two ears but unable to listen! 6 million years of evolution wasted on greedy moneymakers!
