HOW TO INCREASE YOUR ARTISTIC VALUE WORKING IN THE INDEPENDENT MARKET

Did you know that one of the biggest concerns of record companies is the Ekety Brand of their artists? Do you know what this is?

Brand Ekety is how much an artist's brand is worth in the marketplace, not just commercial value, but how much that artist represents.

In addition to releasing good music, you need to build a representative brand in the niche where you operate, the more representative you are, the greater your “Ekety” will be.

In the projects I work on, in the branding phase, I usually work based on the BRANDZ concept, created by the consultancy Millward Brown. This concept of the Ekety Brand is based on three central pillars which are:

1st Relevance - What factors will make the artist's brand Important for his fans? (I use the Value Proposition Canvas).

2nd Differentiation - What attributes will transform this "Unique" artist into a saturated market? (I work this phase with the Blue Ocean Strategy).

3rd Reference - How to transform this artist into a representative of his category? (I use the BCG Matrix, Trends, the Double Diamond of Design thinking, the SWOT Matrix, and the Inference Diamond).

If you put into practice what I have taught you here, you will easily improve your representation in the region where you operate, earning respect and admiration.

Interesting note: ''before thinking about higher fees, the industry first focuses on turning the artist into a brand, then business value rises to extraordinary scales''.

Well, as you can see, this subject, although interesting, is also complex, and if this post has a lot of shares, I'll talk about it again. A big hug and much more!
