People like Wybie are stealing music and it's costing artist's the food on their table.

Hi, my name is Simon.
Just saw Ola Englund's video. I’m shocked that what they reported hasn’t been dealt with yet. Like, I’m genuinely surprised nobody has made it right.

Seems like Wybie is out here stealing music from actual artists, and it's literally costing the original creators their livelihoods. The guy’s practically raiding the talent bank like a musical pirate, and the creators are left wondering how they're supposed to pay rent now.

Spotify, could you please do something about this and let the actual musicians, you know, make money and own their art?

Ola is writing music since i don't remember! is a shame this chinese stealer still robbing Ola's works.

Yep. Well; It’s been an unusually lengthy time since this issue was first reported and subsequently ignored by Spotify—months before this reminder post, I should add.

By allowing this individual to continue unchecked, Spotify is indirectly facilitating intellectual property theft on its platform.

Inaction is, in itself, an action, and Spotify’s silence on this matter speaks volumes. Meanwhile, Spotify continues to profit off of this theft.

NOBODY should have to resort to shouting in the community forum just to get the attention for a copyright thief. Yet, in 2024, a modern company like Spotify offers no clear contact or resolution pathway for these serious issues. There are many unresolved issues like this, and this particular case should be one of the top priorities.

It’s beyond frustrating to feel forced to publicly highlight your failure to act.

As a paid service, we expect far more. Frankly, this is more like the level of an open-source community project, showing a pathetic level of customer service and lack of any decent moderation for addressing IP theft. It’s a shame.

Spotify’s refusal to act begs the question: Is Spotify complicit in this theft by turning a blind eye? You have the money and resources to resolve this but choose to profit from it instead.

TO SPOTIFY: We need a reason to trust and continue using Spotify’s services. Now, more than ever, it’s crucial that you do the right thing and address this issue. We'll be saving all history of these conversations; so the instead of sweeping this under the rug like usual, you'll need to take some responsibility. We're watching carefully to see what you do next.

If you do nothing this time, you're picking the option where hundreds of people walk away from your platform at once.

I understand the concern about music piracy, and it's definitely something that can impact artists. However, for many of us, using platforms like YouTube or streaming services with proper subscriptions ensures that artists are compensated fairly. It's important to find a way to support artists while also enjoying the music we love.

Your response demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of the situation. Subscribing to YouTube or streaming services doesn’t guarantee creators’ IP is protected or that they’re treated fairly. You clearly haven’t done any real research into how flawed YouTube’s system is, especially with the rampant abuse of false claims that harm creators more than protect them. It’s not just about piracy—it’s about a broken system that leaves creators vulnerable. This issue is much bigger than your surface-level opinion. Do your homework before trying to weigh in.

I could frankly care less about your IP since you're awful at looking out for other people's rights, but pull your head in so the rest of us get the attention on this issue it deserves.
