YouTube Music has a better casting interface (Spotify should improve theirs too!)

Whenever I tap the casting button from the YouTube Music MiniPlayer it immediately brings up a small elegant casting interface, with the volume slider right at my fingertips. This looks very sleek from a design perspective, and is more comfortable to use from the UX perspective.

– Skip forward Spotify uses a casting interface which is considerably more annoying to use and it occupies the whole screen, which is completely unnecessary as proven by YouTube Music. The volume slider is not at my fingertips but at the bottom, and the speakers are at the top. The complete opposite of YouTube Music and in my opinion the worse experience, and more difficult to interact with.

Please rework your casting interface Spotify and take some inspiration from the YouTube Music engineers who occasionally do a better job than the people at Spotify. Since I use both streaming services depending on my needs, I would want for Spotify to improve their casting interface aswell. Because right now the casting interface of Spotify makes very little sense from both the UI and UX.

And I don’t know why this jam feature is being forced on us both on mobile and the TV app. I never use it. So that can be removed from the UI aswell.
