lyric syncing issues

i made edits to lyrics for songs two months ago and they still dont appear and i made sure it was through the lyric provider listed on my screen when i read them and im just frustrated at this point as it has blatant errors, any ideas why?

if theres a better place to post too let me know please

What you describe sounds like a common "catalogue issue" problem.

 

The causes that can lead to this type of problem are multiple, but in short it is the fact that the lyrics are no longer properly linked to the Spotify music.

 

This is the most common and easily solvable problem :

  1. For this you should join the community Slack open to all.
  2. In this Slack, a channel named "#catalogue-issues" is present.
  3. And you will have to ask a "refresh" specifying the link to the album(s) concerned (even if it only affects one track, send the album link). Also, you can report wrong lyrics on this same slack, in another channel, if you want it.

 

If there are no other specific issues, then the lyrics will be available for viewing on Spotify within 24 to 72 hours.

I know that doing this is certainly a little longer than filling out a form, but you will be sure that the problem will really be corrected.

 

It may also be because your lyrics have not been verified by another member of the community, in this case you have another channel on Slack, which I invite you to look at as a whole.

 

It may also be because you have Spotify Free, because now the lyrics are only fully available for Spotify Premium users.
