Auto-generated Playlists (ie "Moody Mix") not returned in API

Hi,

I am unable to access certain auto-generated or personalized playlists like Moody Mix, Angst Mix, and Dark Mix through the Spotify Web API. I have added these playlists in the client, but they do not show up in the results from the API (for example, using the me/playlists endpoint).

If I try to fetch them directly by playlist ID, I get a 404 error, even though the links work in the Spotify app.

Questions:
- What are these playlists officially called in Spotify's system or API?
- Are they intentionally excluded from the API?
- Is there any way to access them programmatically?
- If not, is there a plan to make them available in the future?

Thank you for asking this in the Spotify, and Welcome!

Those playlist are indeed intentionally excluded from the API for apps that did have a (pending) quota extension before November 27, 2024.

So, the only way you can do something with that kind of playlists is finding an app that existed before that date and has the functionality that you want.
