Can you play music on WebApp using Spotify API?

This may be a very basic question, but I am trying to build a web application for a school project. I want to be able to play the audio for a selected song through the web application instead of the Spotify application. I just wanted to make sure this was possible while going through the design phases so I can pivot if possible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, you can play music on your website using Spotify. There is a tool called the Web Playback SDK that lets you create a Spotify player in your browser. With it, you can play songs, control the music, and see song details—all on your site. Just remember, you need a Spotify Premium subscription (mobile-only Premium doesn’t work).
