Help understanding quota extension rejection

Help understanding quota extension rejection

Hi everyone,

I recently had my quota extension request rejected with the reason:
"You need to provide us with a fully working application that demonstrates all the core functionality."

I'm a bit confused because I believe I did provide a fully working web app. Here's what my app does:

  • A user connects their Spotify account.

  • They upload a music festival lineup (e.g., Coachella flyer).

  • The app identifies the artists on the flyer, cross-references them with the user’s top genres, and generates a personalized playlist for the festival.

The website is https://www.allkka.com/ and I also submitted a live demo video showing the app working as proof.

Could anyone help me understand what might be missing or what I need to improve? I’d really appreciate any guidance!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @elpetas

Thank you for posting in the Spotify Community!

It is possible they did not have a flyer at hand, and could not test your app because of that.

Maybe you should provide (a link to) a sample flyer (at the home page) they can use to test your app.

Let me know how it goes.
