Illegal Scopes after granted quota extension

I made an app using the Spotify API and recently filed an extension request. In the request I included all the scopes that my code uses. These scopes were all approved a few days ago however, when I run my app now, it just shows "illegal scopes" (The app was working fine before the granted extension). Is there anything I can do to fix this on my end? Or can someone from Spotify help with this issue?

I now found out that you have to also do a Scope Extension Request.

I have never ever experienced this much trouble with using a API. Spotify should really be ashamed of themselves for making such a shitty developer experience. It's quite fascinating really.
