Enhancing an Automatic Playlist Generator – Seeking Guidance for Full-Scale Integration

Hello everyone,

My team and I recently built an automatic playlist generator as part of the IEEE Confluence Hackathon. The project leverages the Spotify API and OpenAI to curate playlists dynamically based on user input.

As we move forward, we are looking to enhance this into a full-fledged extension and potentially integrate it as an add-on feature within Spotify. Some key areas we are considering:

1. Scalability & Performance – Optimizing API calls and data processing for a smoother user experience.

2. Personalization & AI Integration – Enhancing playlist recommendations using more advanced ML models or Spotify's personalization algorithms.

3. UI/UX Improvements – Creating a seamless interface for users to generate, modify, and save playlists.

4. Official Spotify Integration – Exploring the possibility of integrating this as an official Spotify Extension or within the Spotify ecosystem.

I’d love to hear insights from the community on:
